Ayrshire College has been shortlisted for three prestigious awards, recognising its commitment to sustainability, staff wellbeing and developing the workforce of the future.
The College has been named a finalist in the Driving Sustainability Award and Workplace Health and Wellbeing Award categories at this year's Ayrshire Business Awards. It has also been shortlisted in the Tomorrow's Employee category at the Green Gown Awards, recognising its work to prepare learners for careers in Scotland's growing renewable energy sector.
The Green Gown Awards shortlist highlights the College's partnership with Energy Innovation Global (Norway) to establish the Scottish Wind Technician Education Centre. The initiative is helping to address skills shortages in the offshore wind industry while supporting Scotland's renewable energy ambitions by equipping learners with the skills needed for future careers.
At the Ayrshire Business Awards, the Driving Sustainability Award recognises organisations that are making a measurable difference for people and the planet through their environmental commitments, while the Workplace Health and Wellbeing Award celebrates employers that create healthy, inclusive workplaces where colleagues are supported to thrive.

The winners of the Ayrshire Business Awards will be announced on Thursday 2 October at Ayr Racecourse, while the Green Gown Awards winners and highly commended entries will be revealed on 16 November at New Dock Hall, Leeds.
