Norman Bone
Non-Executive Board Member
Norman has been a Non-Executive Board Member of Ayrshire College since 2021. He also holds a Non-Executive Board position at Sheffield Forgemasters Ltd., which is independently managed but wholly owned by the UK Ministry of Defence.
Norman’s executive career includes serving as Chair and CEO of Leonardo UK Ltd., where he oversaw all business operations in the UK, including Electronics, Helicopters, and Security Divisions. Prior to this, he was the Divisional Managing Director for Leonardo’s Electronics business across the UK, Italy, and the USA.
Norman’s extensive experience includes senior roles at BAE Systems in Electronics Divisions, Marconi in Shipyard and Submarine Divisions, and Diageo in Spirits Divisions, including Johnnie Walker. He is passionate about the development of young people, particularly in the STEM fields.
