Jennifer Anderson
Assistant Principal of Skills and Innovation
Jennifer Anderson is the Assistant Principal of Skills and Innovation at Ayrshire College, bringing over 20 years of experience in further and higher education. Jennifer's educational journey began at Kilmarnock College in 1993, where she earned an HNC in Business Administration. She later achieved a BA in Business, Information Technology, and Accounting from the University of the West of Scotland and a PGCert in Teaching Qualification (Further Education), which sparked her passion for lifelong learning. Among her recent accomplishments are a CMI Diploma in Management and Leadership and a Master of Education.
Jennifer began her career as an IT Project Manager at IBM UK Ltd before transitioning to James Watt College in 2002, where she became a lecturer in Business, Finance, and IT. After a decade at the Kilwinning Campus, she moved to Glasgow Clyde College, holding various middle and senior management positions.
As a lifelong resident of Ayrshire, Jennifer is deeply committed to supporting and serving her community. Her leadership in skills and innovation at Ayrshire College reflects her dedication to fostering growth and opportunity within the region.
