
Become a VQ Assessor
We are currently recruiting for permanent, full-time VQ Assessors (35 hours per week), with a salary of £35,459 per annum. These roles are essential in supporting students to achieve Scottish and National Vocational Qualifications (S/NVQ) through comprehensive assessment, verification and monitoring within work-based environments.
As a VQ Assessor, you'll be instrumental in building strong partnerships with external employers and providing crucial mentoring and guidance to inspire learners. Successful candidates should be educated to HNC/SVQ Level 3/SCQF Level 7 or equivalent in a relevant subject area, coupled with extensive experience in their respective industries. While prior experience in assessing and verifying vocational qualifications is preferred, the college is prepared to offer training.
