This 1 day course from the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) is designed to provide practical information and advice which will help employers and employees to ensure that their work activities are carried out safely, reducing the risk to themselves and others.

Cyber Security - Reduce Risks and Protect Data (ONLINE)

Start Date: Wednesday 28 May 2025. This 1 day online online course is designed for businesses as an introduction to help individuals and employees better understand cyber risks and how they can protect themselves and their business.

Taxi and Private Hire Driver Training Course

Start Date: Thursday 5 June 2025. This one day course is required for South Ayrshire Taxi drivers only. ID and Badge details are required. You will learn about basic legislation, health & safety, customer care, first aid and how to move passengers in wheelchairs and with other mobility difficulties.

Microsoft Excel - Beginners

Start Date: Thursday 5 June 2025. This beginner 1 day course is designed to provide participants with a solid foundation in Microsoft Excel, enabling them to confidently navigate the application, manage data, perform calculations, and create basic visualisations.

REHIS Risk Assessment

This 1 day course from the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) is ideal for all workers. You will learn principles and practice of Occupational Health & Safety risk assessment and why it is necessary.

BPEC Domestic Gas CCN1 - Reassessment

Start Date: Tuesday 17 June. This 4 session evening/weekend course is specifically for engineers who wish to renew their certification to undertake, service, commission and repair specific gas appliances. The course is certificated by BPEC and includes training and assessment.

REHIS Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders Refresher (PLHR)

This 1/2 day course by The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) is for anyone who currently holds a Personal Licence and requires their 5 year renewal to be completed.

REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene

This 4 day intensive REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate is designed for managers, supervisors and chefs who require an in-depth knowledge of food hygiene or those working within high-risk environments or with high-risk products. It explores the relationship between food hygiene, food poisoning and food spoilage.

REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene

This 1 day course from the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) is primarily for those currently employed or seeking employment in the hospitality/catering industry, either on a professional or voluntary basis. It satisfies the legal requirement for all food handlers to be trained in food hygiene.

REHIS Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (PLH)

This 1 day course by The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) is for anyone who manages premises where alcohol is sold, including bar managers, convenience store managers and supermarkets.

BPEC Ground Source Heat Pumps

This course aims to help plumbers and heating engineers who want to install Heat Pumps to comply with the appropriate Building Regulations and Standards. The BPEC Heat Pump Systems programme is recognised as a demonstration of competence for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).

Microsoft PivotTables - Summarise and Analyse Data

This 1 day course is designed to provide participants with a solid foundation in creating and utilising pivot tables in Microsoft Excel. They will learn how to summarise, analyse, and present large datasets effectively, making data-driven decisions with ease.

Microsoft Excel Dashboards - Visually Present Data

This 1 day course is suitable for those with a good working knowledge of Excel at intermediate to advanced level. It is not suitable for beginners to Excel. Participants will learn how to slice big data sources into easy-to-understand information formats.

PDA Workplace Assessment Using Direct and Indirect Methods (L&D9DI)

START ANYTIME - This PDA is for all workplace assessors of regulated qualifications such as SVQs in all occupational sectors. Delegates will complete SQA Unit FD41 04: Assess Workplace Competence Using Direct and Indirect Methods (SCQF Level 8)

PDA Internal Verification of Workplace Assessment (L&D11)
