Overview
Do you have a DSLR camera and would like to get the most out of it? Or have you had one for a while and haven't got to grips with its controls? If you can answer yes to either of these questions, or have a strong interest in improving your existing photography skills, then this is the class for you.
Upon completion of this course, you will receive a college certificate.
Course Content
You should own your own DSLR camera and will need to bring this along to class. Here you will learn about the features of your camera and its controls. You'll also learn about the basic principles involved in composing and shooting an effective photograph. You will learn through a range of activities such as tutor demonstrations and workshops, as well as class discussion and through self and peer evaluation. By the end of the course you will have produced a portfolio of photographs for your own pleasure or to support an application to one of our full time courses.
