Looking to kick-start a career in the vibrant world of hospitality? On this short course you’ll learn how to create a range of hot and cold beverages, while building your confidence and communication skills. With a focus on mental wellbeing and practical experience, this course will set you up for success in the hospitality industry.

Entry requirements

  • National 3 qualifications in English and Maths
  • a genuine interest in the course

If you don’t have formal qualifications, but have appropriate experience or training, then we’ll also consider you for a place, so please do apply.

Course content

  • mental health and wellbeing: gain a mental health and wellbeing award at SCQF Level 4
  • Barista skills: master the art of being a skilled Barista
  • mixology: learn how to mix ingredients to create fabulous drinks
  • customer care: improve your customer care skills by looking at techniques to keep your customers happy
  • events: jump into the exciting world of events
