Candidates should have some prior knowledge of numeracy and communication, although formal qualifications may not be necessary if suitable experience had been gained informally or through work experience.

• The UK income tax system: focusing on Pay As You Earn (PAYE)

On completion of this course you may:

• progress to HND Accounting (Level 8)
• start a career as a bookkeeper or join the accounts department of various businesses
