What's Involved?

This course offers a practical and engaging learning experience focused on strengthening leadership capability, developing high-performing teams, and building effective problem-solving skills. Participants will explore different leadership styles and behaviours, gain tools to support training and team development, and learn structured techniques for overcoming workplace challenges. The programme also emphasises the influence of organisational culture on leadership and teamwork, and provides strategies for planning future growth - both for individuals and their teams.

1. Leadership

  • Leadership styles, behaviours, and their impact
  • Identifying areas for leadership improvement
  • Understanding organisational culture and its influence on leadership

2. Team Development

  • Building and developing effective teams
  • Training, coaching, and encouraging self-development
  • Understanding team roles and how to enhance team performance

3. Overcoming Problems

  • Identifying and analysing workplace problems
  • Developing and evaluating potential solutions
  • Implementing and reviewing chosen solutions
  • Planning for future growth and problem-prevention strategies

Attendees will leave the course with a deeper understanding of the factors that influence their leadership style, practical tools for developing their teams, and enhanced confidence in solving problems.
