What's Involved?
The one day REHIS Elementary Health and Safety course is ideal for all workers. It is designed to give employees a firm grounding in Health and Safety. The course is designed to provide practical information and advice which will help employers and employees to ensure that their work activities are carried out safely, reducing the risk to themselves and others.
This practical course gives a general introduction to Health and Safety issues, and the precise meaning of terms commonly used in this area
On the day of the course, you’ll work through this handbook and at the end, you’ll sit a multiple-choice question paper.
Delegates must bring Proof of Identification AND note of National Insurance number on the day of course, completion of the course and certification will not be processed without suitable ID on the day.

- A photo card driving licence
- A valid passport
- A valid identity card from within the EU
- A military identity card
- A government identity card
- A Security Industry Authority card
- A Personal Licence, issued by a Scottish Licensing Board
- Young Scot Card (Photo MUST be up to date with current likeness)
