Skills to Success is perfect for anyone who wants to: improve their confidence or motivation understand themselves better develop skills that support employment or further learning grow their digital skills take the next step towards a positive future No previous experience is needed — just a willingness to take part and try new things.

By the end of Skills to Success, you’ll feel more confident in yourself and your abilities, have practical skills you can use right away, and be ready to take your next steps toward work, training or further learning.

Course Content

Throughout the course, you will take part in friendly, interactive activities that help you:
  •  Understand your strengths, values and personal qualities
  •  Build confidence in new or challenging situations
  •  Improve your communication and teamwork skills
  •  Strengthen your problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  •  Learn positive workplace behaviours and expectations
  •  Develop essential ICT skills for everyday life and the modern workplace
You’ll explore real-life situations, work through practical tasks, and reflect on your progress to build a clearer picture of your potential.

This course includes a range of recognised SQA units at SCQF Level 4, such as:

  • ICT Level 3
  • Problem Solving
  • Personal Development: Self Awareness
  • Personal Development: Self and Work
These units help you build a strong portfolio of skills valued by employers, colleges and training providers.
