START ANYTIME - This PDA is for all non-workplace internal verifiers of regulated qualifications such as HN's or qualifications on training courses. Delegates will complete SQA Unit H291 35: Conduct the Internal Verification Process (SCQF Level 8)

What's Involved?

This PDA is for all non-workplace internal verifiers of regulated qualifications such as HN's or qualifications on training courses.

In order to undertake the programme, the candidate must be in an existing role verifying two assessor candidates who are working towards a HN or equivalent non-workplace qualification

Internal verifier candidates should already have suitable assessor qualifications, such as PDA Conduct the Assessment Process (L&D SQA Unit: H290 35)

Course Content

The candidate will undertake the SQA unit: H291 35 Conduct the Internal Verification Process (SCQF Level 8)".

The types of activities the candidate will be involved in include:

  • Prepare to internally verify the assessment process
  • Arrange and conduct internal verification of the assessment process
  • Review and standardise assessment practices and procedures

Completion timescale is dependent on candidate’s ability to generate evidence and participate in observations as required.
