Anyone eligible to graduate will be sent a letter. If you haven't yet received one, it should be on its way.
If you achieved an HNC in 2019/20 but are continuing your studies with us in 20/21, you will not be invited to graduate this year.
As a result of COVID 19, we’ve had to change the format of our ceremonies. On Friday 6 November 2020 at 7.30pm we’ll be hosting virtual events for each of our curriculum areas, as follows:
- Business, Computing, Travel and Tourism and Events
- Construction Technology and Trades
- Early Years
- Engineering and Science
- Hair, Beauty, Complementary Therapies and Make-Up Artistry
- Social Sciences
- Sports and Fitness
With your help we will make the occasion interactive and memorable, so we’re encouraging you and your family to join us in celebrating from the comfort of your own home.
We would encourage you to hire a graduation gown, as it is very often one of the most memorable parts of the event. It will be posted to your house and you will be able to get some great photos. Please share them with us, tag us on social media and tweet using #AyrshireGrads – let’s generate a real online buzz about the event.
Accessing the ceremony
You will be able to join the ceremony through a platform called ‘Hey Summit’. You simply need to register with them beforehand.

Step 2. At the bottom of the page, enter your email address and click on the button under that called 'Book my Place'.
Step 3. You will then be asked to select a 'Category' - choose Ayrshire College Graduation 2020
Step 4. After you select the category it will allow you to select a 'talk' - choose your course area Graduation ceremony and click next in the navy box at the bottom of your screen.
Step 5. Input your name into the section and click 'Complete Order' in the navy box at the bottom of your screen.
That's registration complete. You will then receive a few emails from Hey Summit on the run up to the event and will receive your link to access the ceremony 1 hour before it starts. You can share this link with family and friends if they want to watch also!
Look out for your commemorative certificate, which will be posted to you prior to Graduation. We want you to have it during your celebrations and would like to see it in your photographs.
You should already have received your formal certificate directly from SQA.
Booking your gown
To book your gown visit https://graduation-services.edeandravenscroft.com/graduation/

We know the experience will be quite different from previous years, but that’s no reason for us not to celebrate in style.
We have listed below some things that may help you plan your celebration. Why not share your ideas with other graduates using #AyrshireGrads
As well as online companies we have included some local suppliers that we would usually use when planning our normal Graduations to help to support the local businesses.
Have some fun with the Graduation props – don’t forget to share your photos with us.
