Ayrshire College has unveiled its Strategic Ambition 2024-2027, setting out a bold vision to empower students, staff, and communities for a changing world. Launched at the College’s staff conference, the strategy focuses on delivering outstanding experiences, building partnerships as the Partner of Choice, and enabling the future through innovation and collaboration.
Angela Cox, Principal and Chief Executive, highlighted the ambition behind the strategy:
"Our mission of Empowering People for a Changing World drives everything we do. This strategy will help us provide our students with the skills and confidence they need to succeed, while strengthening partnerships that fuel Ayrshire’s economic and social growth."
The strategy outlines plans to extend partnerships with Ayrshire’s 10,000+ businesses while aligning education programs with the region’s key sectors—Engineering, Aerospace, Digital, Construction, Clean Growth, Wellbeing Economy, and Visitor Economy. With a strong focus on personalising learning experiences, Ayrshire College aims to prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving economy.
Measures of success include increasing student attainment, staff satisfaction, and employer partnerships while maintaining financial sustainability and continuing to deliver high-quality education.
This new Strategic Ambition sets the course for the next few years, ensuring that Ayrshire College remains a driving force in shaping a better future for its students, partners, and the local economy.
