Two coffee drinkers at Ayrshire College’s Ayr Campus coffee shop have been rewarded for their good taste with tickets to the cinema and a trampoline park.

Ayrshire College’s Fairtrade coffee and tea supplier Coffee Conscience organised a competition at each main campus. Anyone purchasing a hot drink could enter their name into a random draw to win tickets.

The draw was made this week and Rachael Campbell from Ayr, who is an HND Visual Communications (Graphics & Illustration) student, has won four tickets to Ryze trampoline park. Yvonne Don, an NC Hairdressing student from Drongan, has won a restaurant and cinema trip for two.

Rachael said: “I probably buy coffee at least twice a day when I’m in college. I got a phone call to say I’d won and to be honest I’d forgotten I’d even entered it. We’ve got a wee boy who loves the trampoline park, so he’ll be delighted.”

Yvonne said: “I drink coffee here all the time – I’m a coffee addict! On a Thursday night I’m here until 8pm so I need a lot to keep me going. I enter so many competitions and never win so I was a wee bit shocked to find out I’d won. It was my friend’s 40th yesterday so the two of us will be putting my win to good use.”
